Casey was the one that introduced me to what paranormal monster movies really are: our greatest fears made human. Saying that aloud (as I’m wont to do as I type) makes me think of God and Jesus, but that’s a digression for another time.
I remember hating “running” zombies, for instance, and Casey’s logic was that it’s our brain’s rationale. Zombies represent “Death” and death does not run, death will catch you; it catches everyone; it’s around every corner.
